تأثر التعليم المعماري في الجامعات المصرية بالتوجهات المعمارية المختلفة، ففي فترات الحداثة وظهور معماريين کصلاح زيتون ويوسف بک شفيق ومصطفي فهمي وغيرهم من المعماريين المصريين تأثر نتاج الطلاب المعماري في فترات مختلفة وخاصة في السبعينيات والثمانينيات والذي اتضح بمدارس التصميم. ومع بدايات التسعينيات استمرت بکلية الهندسة بجامعة القاهرة تلک المفاهيم وخاصة مع افتتاح مبني الهندسة المعمارية عام 1991 والذي صممه دکتور على بسيوني متأثرا بميس فان دي روه، واستمر الطلاب في نفس النتاج مع تطبيق توجهات معمارية محلية على التوازي کتطبيق لفکر المهندس المعماري حسن فتحي أو عمارة دکتور عبدالحليم ابراهيم بعد ذلک وغيرهما من المرتبطين بالمکان وتطبيقا لأفکار کريستوفر الکسندر في احترام المکان والتي استمرت من خلال مصفوفات دکتور سيد التوني في العمارة والعمران، وکذلک تأثيرات ما بعد الحداثة والعمارة الانسانية. وفي منتصف التسعينيات بدأ نقل أفکار العمارة التفکيکية من خلال ثورة المعلومات ومن خلال محاضرة للمعماري طارق أبو النجا - بکلية الهندسة جامعة القاهرة- أحدثت نقلة نحو عمارة التکوين والتشکيل وکسر لمفاهيم الحداثة وأحد توجهات ما بعد الحداثة، وبدأ تغير نتاج طلاب العمارة من الحداثة والمفاهيم الوظيفية کأساس مع الاعتماد على الموديلات الثابتة والتشکيلات الصندوقية إلى مفاهيم التحرر والتشکيل. ما سبق أثر تبعا على تشکيل وتکوين العمارة في مصر بعد خمسة وعشرين عاما واتضح ذلک في المحيط العمراني في الحاضر، مما يتضح منه أهمية مراجعة النتاج والتعليم المعماري الذي يتأثر ويؤثر في العمارة بعد أعوام. وفي الوقت الحالي يتضح تأثر نتاج طلاب العمارة بالجامعات بعمارة التفکيکية وخاصة عمارة زها حديد وغيرها وغياب الوظيفة وسيطرة التشکيل بالإضافة لسيطرة تکنولوجيا المعلومات وبرامج الحاسب الالي وتکوين الکتل والتي أعطت تحررا وصل إلى عمارة الفضاء والبناء بالمريخ. وتأتي خطورة هذا الأمر من تحولات العمارة المصرية من الارتباط بالمکان والهوية والوظيفة إلى نقل کامل من الغرب والانفصال عن المکان وغياب الوظيفة وسيطرة التشکيل، والذي دعا إليه المعماري الدکتور على رأفت في محاضرته بنهاية عام 2016 "بين الحدسية والنظامية" والذي أثار بها مبدأ التحرر نحو التشکيل. وبالتالي يتطلب تغيير بعض المرجعيات والتأکيد على ثوابت في التعليم المعماري للحفاظ على عمارة المستقبل والذي يحملها ويصيغها طلاب اليوم، وتصل الورقة البحثية إلى منهج ومصفوفة مرجعية تدعم التعليم المعماري للحفاظ على العمارة المصرية المرتبطة بالمکان والتي تحافظ على الهوية ويقوم المنهج على "العودة للجذور مع مواکبة متطلبات العصر الملائمة للمکان".
The architectural trends affect the architectural education in the Egyptian universities that the Modernism trend with Salah Zieton, Youssef Shafiek, Mostafa Fahmy… etc. especially in the seventies and the eighties appear in the students' designs . At the beginning of the nineties, Cairo University continues the same trend especially with the opening of the architectural department building which has been designed by Dr. Aly Bassuony affected by Mise Van De Rohe; the students keep designing with the same trend. Meanwhile, the trend of vernacular architecture and context affects others who follow Hassan Fathy or Abdel-Halim Ibrahim's Architecture to apply Christopher Alexander's thoughts which continue with Sayed Eltouny's matrix. In the mid of ninetieth, the Information revolution transfers the Deconstruction principles, Started with a lecture held by Tarek Abo el-Naga in Cairo University, which changed the students' products from the function and modules of designs to free forms and deconstruction designs, which reach space architecture . After 25 years of the previous trends, the urban character was affected by these trends, which become clear to the importance to review the architectural education and the students' products and their impacts on the urban character after many years. The risking of the transformation of the Egyptian architecture from linking with the place, identity, and functions, to eclecting from the western architecture regardless the context or the functions, which need to emphasis on the constants in the architectural education to preserve the future Egyptian architecture . The paper concludes with an approach using a matrix to support the architectural education to preserve the Egyptian architecture, and respect the identity which is: "Returning to roots with considering the age needs which respecting the context".
