استخدام الأساليب الإحصائية لقياس الفقر - حالة مصر الوسطى Using statistical methods to measure poverty - The State of Central Egypt

Abstract

يتعرض البحث إلى أسباب الفقر في الريف المصري باتخاذ إقليم مصر الوسطى (شمال  الصعيد والمکون من محافظات بنى سويف والفيوم والمنيا) کدراسة حالة، وذلک بتوظيف منهجية بحثية کمية، باستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المتقدمة متعددة المتغيرات وتطبيقات نظم المعلومات الجغرافية؛ خلصت الدراسة إلى ان من أسباب الفقر في مصر الوسطى غياب الخدمات الاجتماعية وسوء البنية التحتية في الإقليم، وانتشار الامية، والاعتماد الأکبر على الزراعة والتي تعانى مشاکل عديدة وعلى رأسها تدنى الحيازات المنزرعة بالإقليم مما يؤدي إلى عدم وجود وفورات اقتصادية؛ تبلغ نسب القرى الأکثر فقرًا في محافظات بني سويف والمنيا والفيوم قرابة 18.75 و15.26 و8.16 بالمائة من قرى المحافظة، على التوالي، وتقع أغلب هذه القرى بمرکز الفشن ببنى سويف، وحول بحيرة قارون، واطراف الوادي المتاخمة للصحراء.
This research attempts to identify reasons for poverty in central Egypt (northern upper Egypt )region. The researchers used a quantitative method of inquiry applying advanced multivariate statistical analyses and geographic information systems (GIS) applications. Reasons of poverty in region include the lack of social services and infrastructures,  widespread of illiteracy . furtheromore , the agricultural sector , which suffers of diseconomies of scale as a  result of dwarf holdings and seasonality employs most of the poor population in region the poorest villages in the governorates of bani suwayf, minya and faiyum are expected to be around 18.75,15.26 and 8.16 percent respectively  most of these villages are in the district (markaz) of al fashin , those nearby lake qaroun, faiyum, and villages at the hinterlands of the valley
